Yee hah! Drought and water shortages might be bad for consumers (i.e., ordinary people), small farmers and those who need food (hello, that’s all of us!), but they’re GREAT for business. So speculates an article in Cleantech, which asserts “California’s drought could mean water boom, say experts.” Sounds to me like the same logic that makes the Dow reach spectacular heights when big companies lay off thousands (i.e., they’re cutting expenses: good for investors, bad for workers).
